PAST

7.30.13 403

Set a joist on fire, melted some styrofoam insulation but I did it, first try! We have water. We were looking like Pineys circa 1920. On to the fried electric and the retarded sewer system. Next the bugs that are eating Jen's house and the garage and fixing the leaking roofs.Stopping the House of Usher effect

Finally have some tomatos. Weakest crop ever.

7.29.13 The ancient pipes, some 85 years old, are paper thin from the endless iron barrage and if you touch one, it, and all the surrounding plumbing disintergrates in your hands. It's impossible to get ahead of- the more you repair the larger the problem. Today the repair will involve 3/4", 1/2" and 1/4" copper pipes, a compression value, a shut off valve and plastic hose. I'll never get this right first try.

7.28.13 Here, in this digital world, everything makes sense. Things are neat and orderly. Beauty prevails. In the 'real' world it is just the oppisite. Art trys to fix the ugly and insane, to find meaning in the great void and inspire courage. With this in mind witness Table 7.28.13, no. 402 in a multi-year art project.

7.27.13 Artbox sounds great Peter. I want to see it! Read about it here: Artbox

7.26.13 Stuck in huge plumbing nightmare- endless, but phlox made me feel good. It was the first plant in the garden. It had been a pleasant image and summer smell from childhood and we (Van and me) were determined to find some and re-experiance this plant.

7.25.13 Brother M is leaving town for the Big Easy, a particularly ironic misnomer in this situation. Classic M now, out of touch, reach, when ....fuck it.

7.24.13 Finally past 400 in the Table project. A few years more to go before we hit the 1,000 mark. This is Table 7.24.13 (no. 401):

7.23.13 Hey. Wish I could explain but...

7.20.13

7.19.13 That weather app on the phone shows 106° in Manchester:

7.18.13 A few minutes later all was clear again.

At 7:00 pm a great fog swept in (or it was condensation of my lens- I'll never tell) and I couldn't find my way home.

Now it's 6:00 pm and down a degree (that's all!), with a repeat for tomorrow- yipeee. Hot as those peppers. T 396:

Now at 1:18 pm :

11:40 am and it's baking outside. Looks like we will get up to 115 heat index today. Feels good.

7.17.13 No. 396 in the series.

The 'new' weather is tough to get used to. 3 digits today.

7.16.13 Machines have strange personalities too. Maybe it's the heat. Poor Zeepo doesn't get a break fixing things. At his job he is responsible for several thousand machines- comps, servers, electronics. Thanks dude for all the work at Toop. He carries the torch:Despite many on going issues nibbling at his nervous system.

7.15.13 Didn't die. Little server issue.

Dan got us back online.

We had that rare effect when sunset bounces pink off the bottom of the clouds tonight:

Torture you with Tables like this one, Table 7.15.13:

Mimosa evokes-

7.5.13 Boo

7.3.13 Just want to forget June- endless nightmare. It still isn't over after a cellar flood and a cesspool pumpout in an electrical storm. We are getting close though.

6.29.13 One house has bleach smelling water (shocking, literally, shock the water) and one no water yet.
